Founded in 1928, under the name "LS5 Estación Rivadavia", Radio Rivadavia has a rich history in Argentine radio. In 1933, it introduced the most successful and enduring program in Argentine radio history: La Oral Deportiva, the first sports-dedicated radio show, led by the iconic José María Muñoz, the most prominent sports journalist in Argentine radio.

In 1958, "El Rotativo del Aire" revolutionized journalistic coverage with a comprehensive system that incorporated both local and external correspondents.
